Resources for Recovery: Equity and Access

The American Institutes for Research remains committed to providing state and local leaders and community members with evidence-based tools and services to help navigate this disrupted and emerging landscape.  In addition to the support we provide through the many Federal and foundation-funded support centers that we operate, AIR has invested in a number of activities that have provided resources to our state and local partners at no charge.

Issues of equity and access, while challenging under normal circumstances, are further complicated when access to learning opportunities and student supports differs across and within systems.  Resources for Recovery: Equity and Access provides links to a virtual training opportunity for school boards, strategies to recruit a diverse teacher workforce, a brief on the impact of COVID-19 on early learning and care providers, and frameworks for building conditions that focus on equity - including across online and blended learning environments.
