The American Institutes for Research remains committed to providing state and local leaders and community members with evidence-based tools and services to help navigate this disrupted and emerging landscape. In addition to the support we provide through the many Federal and foundation-funded support centers that we operate, AIR has invested in a number of activities that have provided resources to our state and local partners at no charge.
In Resources for Recovery: Health Equity, AIR and its subsidiary IMPAQ have convened experts and innovators to tackle problems related to COVID-19 that disproportionately impact vulnerable communities, such as low-income, minority, and rural populations. IMPAQ experts designed the SDoH Action Tool, a webinar series on health equity during COVID-19, and other health equity research as resources to help academic researchers, community-based organizations, and policymakers resolve health disparities.
