Resources for Recovery: Supporting the Well-Being of the School Community

The American Institutes for Research remains committed to providing state and local leaders and community members with evidence-based tools and services to help navigate this disrupted and emerging landscape.  In addition to the support we provide through the many Federal and foundation-funded support centers that we operate, AIR has invested in a number of activities that have provided resources to our state and local partners at no charge.

The current crisis has ignited a clear call to action for schools to be ready to provide comprehensive supports to address the needs of children, youth, and their families as schools reopen.  Resources for Recovery: Supporting the Well-Being of the School Community spans a variety of needs, including strategies to support the needs of the whole child in an academic setting; resources for social-emotional learning; tools to promote educator resilience and self-care; building positive conditions for learning at home (available in English and in Spanish), and the importance of out-of-school programs for youth.
